Bengals TE Tyler Eifert, WR John Ross ruled out for Week 3 game against Packers
The Green Bay Packers have myriad injuries up and down their roster as they approach their week three game against the Cincinnati Bengals, but the team from southwestern Ohio is dealing with several of their own. On Friday, the team ruled some of their top offensive weapons out for Sunday game Nick Perry Jersey.First up is Tyler Eifert, the Bengals’ Pro Bowl tight end, who has reportedly been dealing with injuries to his back and knee. He did play in both of the first two games of the regular season, recording four receptions and 46 yards. With Eifert out, Cincinnati will turn to third-year players Tyler Kroft and C.J. Uzomah at the traditional tight end position, although they also list Ryan Hewitt and Cethan Carter as tight ends H-backs.Eifert has never played a full 16-game schedule since entering the NFL, and in fact he has played more than eight games twice as a rookie in 2013 and in 2015, when he made the Pro Bowl. His only game against the Packers was in that 2013 season, when he caught one pass for seven yards.The Packers’ defense will probably not be sorry to see Eifert miss the game, however, as his size and speed poses significant issues for defenses.Joining Eifert as an inactive will be rookie wide receiver John Ross, who set the NFL Combine record in the 40-yard dash https://www.packersgearstoreonline.com/Packers_Kenny_Clark_Jersey. Ross was listed as a non-participant in Thursday practice with an illness.Meanwhile, the Bengals have also had a number of other key players limited or not participating in practice this week, including both offensive tackles and three starters on the defensive line.
